Troubleshooting Why the Internal Projector is Not Powering OnUpdated a month ago

Occasionally, the power module within the Luxedo Projection System will fail to power on the internal projector. If you are calibrating your device or it appears as "Playing" in the portal, but the projector is powered down the power module may not be powering on the internal projector. To fix this follow this guide.

Luxedo Projection System v3

The Luxedo Projection System v3 uses an RS-232 cable to send the "power on" signal. If this cable is not connected properly, the "power on" signal will not reach the internal projector. Ensure the RS-232 cable is connected securely to the internal projector.

Luxedo Projection System v2

The Luxedo Projection System v2 uses an Infrared Signal to send a "power on" signal wirelessly to the internal projector. Occasionally, the cables inside of the metal housing are positioned in a way that obscures this signal. To fix this, simply ensure there is nothing between the IR remote (see image below) and the top of the internal projector.

LuxLink or LuxCast

Neither the LuxCast nor LuxLink offer a power module. The connected projector must be powered on manually.
